Drum Workshop shell pack with maple shells
If you are looking for a Drum Workshop shell pack with recognisable DW construction, this setup gives you a shell pack made from 100% North American 8-ply maple shells. The HVLT grain orientation technology combines a classic maple tone with warm punch and healthy resonance, making this drum kit suitable for a wide range of uses.
The configuration includes 8x10" and 9x12" mounted toms, a 14x16" floor tom and an 18x22" bass drum. You receive this Drum Workshop Design Series as a shell pack, so it excludes stands, snare drum, cymbals and drum throne. The matching Design Series snare is sold separately.

The chrome hardware uses low-mass mini-turret lugs, triple-flange hoops and STM Suspension Tom Mounts, where the mounting system puts less tension on the mounted toms. True-Pitch tuning helps with more precise tuning travel and greater control while tuning.
The bearing edges are also specifically shaped: 45 degrees on the toms and 60 degrees on the bass drum and snare. At Magna Music, you can also get personal advice from musicians in the shop if you want to combine this DW shell pack with suitable hardware or add a matching snare.

This Drum Workshop Design Series Shell Pack comes in red and includes a two-piece bass drum pillow set DSCPBDP2W. The Design Series is known for bringing custom-inspired drums to a wider audience, including UV-cured lacquers and the characteristic Mini-Turret lugs.
