Pearl 14 inch snare wires with a looser sound
Looking for snare wires for your 14 inch snare drum with extra sensitivity and a slightly looser tone? The Pearl SN-1420C Ultra Sound snare wires are made to improve your snare’s response and definition, with a wider dynamic range from soft accents to heavy hits.
The looser tension in the center gives these snare wires a character that suits rock and metal well, or any situation where you want a less tight snare sound. At the same time, they respond quickly and accurately to your playing, giving you more control over the drum.
Ultra-Sound snare wires for studio and live use
The patented Pearl Ultra-Sound design adapts to the dimensions and shell material of your snare drum, helping deliver a tighter, more sensitive and more defined sound. These snare wires fit standard snare mechanisms, so installation stays straightforward.
For drummers who want to tailor their snare for rehearsal, recording or stage use, this is a practical upgrade. At Magna Music, you can also get personal advice from musicians if you want to fine-tune your snare drum further.
