Eastman electric guitar with classic build and rich tone
The Eastman SB59/TV is an electric guitar for players who value high-end finishing and traditional construction. The body is made from a single piece of okoume with a solid hand-carved maple top, which together with the set neck construction contributes to rich resonance and a balanced tone.
Two hand-wound and aged Lollar Imperial Humbuckers give this Eastman a warm, dynamic sound with plenty of character. That makes this guitar suitable for styles ranging from jazz to rock, and equally at home in the studio or on stage.
Playability and finish of the Eastman SB59/TV
The neck is made from one piece of okoume and paired with an ebony fingerboard with a 12 inch radius and a 24 3/4 inch scale length. This gives a direct and comfortable playing feel for both rhythm work and lead playing. The 22 Jescar frets, the 43 mm bone nut and the factory setup with 3/32 inch action on the bass side and 2/32 inch on the treble side add to the precise feel.
Visually, the detail is in the finish: Truetone Vintage Gloss, ivoroid binding on the body and neck, pearl Crown inlays and a pearl headstock logo. You can choose from Classic, Black or Redburst.
Reliable electronics and hardware
Inside, the Eastman SB59/TV uses CTS 500K Audio Taper pots, Sprague Orange Drop capacitors, Gavitt braided wire and a Göldo 3-way switch with ivory tip. That combination makes the electronics dependable and expressive in use.
The relic Gotoh hardware includes SD90 tuners, a GE-104B-NI bridge, GE101A-NI tailpiece and EP-A1 strap pegs in Antique Nickel. The guitar comes in a hardshell case, and if you want it adjusted later, Magna Music also offers personal advice from musicians and maintenance in its own workshop.
