With three 12AX7 preamp tubes and four EL84 power tubes, the Peavey Classic 30 112 responds directly to your playing touch. At higher volumes, it delivers musical overdrive straight from the amp without losing its character.
Two-channel 1x12 combo for stage and studio
The Peavey Classic 30 112 is built as a 1x12 combo with a 12" Midnight 60 speaker and two channels: Clean and Lead. Channel switching is footswitchable, and the overdrive channel also includes a boost for extra drive when you need it.
The built-in spring reverb is also footswitchable, which makes this tube amp especially useful in rehearsals, on stage and in the studio. An effects loop is included as well, with send and return for external effects in your signal chain.
Construction, connections and control
For shaping your sound, you get a passive 3-band EQ with Bass, Mid and Treble, so you can dial in the response to suit your setup. Connections include a 1/4" input, send/return FX loop and an external speaker out.
The Tweed cabinet with metal grille gives the Peavey Classic 30 112 its familiar look, while the compact size of about 51 x 43 x 23 cm and a weight of around 18 kg keep it practical to move.
