Tap mode and trails mode in practice
Hold the bypass footswitch until the LED starts flashing and you enter tap mode, where you tap in the tempo with your foot. In that mode, the three-way switch changes only the rhythmic subdivision, such as quarter notes, eighth notes or dotted repeats, while the pedal remembers the last tempo until you change it again.
Trails are on by default, so the delay decays naturally when you switch the effect off. If you disable trails, the delay stops abruptly, giving you the choice between a smooth decay or an immediate cutoff depending on how you play.
