Drum method for a clear start on drum kit

In this edition, white is central. Within the method, that colour refers to the snare, while the colours on the staff mark different parts of the drum set. This helps you see more quickly which part of the drum kit you need to play and makes the learning process easier to follow.
The LeonDrums Methode by Leon van der Geest
The method was created by drum teacher Léon van der Geest in 1999 and further developed over the years. The system uses the levels White, Yellow, Green, Blue, Orange, Red, Purple, Pink and Black, with drumsticks in the same colour.
Each colour stands for a specific part of the drum set: snare in white, Tom 1 in yellow, Tom 2 in green, floor tom in blue, bass drum in orange, hi-hat in red, crash in purple and ride in pink. This makes the drum method especially practical if you want structure during lessons or want to practise at home with clear visual links.
