Roland TD-716 electronic drum kit with V-Drums 7 technology
With the Roland TD-716, you get the flagship model from the V-Drums 7 series. This electronic drum kit gives you two ways to play: through the built-in sound library developed in collaboration with Drum Workshop (DW), and through DW Soundworks software for drumming on your computer.
The redesigned sound module, next-generation pads and enhanced creative tools give you extensive control over your setup. With built-in wireless connectivity and Roland Cloud Connect on your smartphone, you can adjust your sound immediately with V-Drums Instrument Expansions, Kit Packs and more.
Complete setup with digital pads and expandable module
The TD-716 is built around the expandable V71 module and a full kit configuration with a PD-14DSX Digital Snare, two PD-10X tom pads, two PD-12X tom pads, a VH-14D Digital Hi-Hat, two CY-16R-T crash cymbals, a CY-18DR Digital Ride, the KD-18-BK kick pad and the MDS-Stage 2 rack stand. The PD-14DSX takes detail sensing further and includes a snare throw-off lever and a snare tension knob.
The KD-18-BK also stands out with its full wood shell, authentic look and a sensor mounted on the drumhead. The tom pads have streamlined profiles and new sensor systems, making this Roland drum kit a strong choice for drummers who value precision and a modern electronic setup with broad playing options.
Connections, expansion and included parts
For expansion, four extra trigger inputs are available via AUX 1 through AUX 4, so you can add extra pads or triggers. Included with the kit are a setup guide, an MDH-STG2 clamp, a connection cable for Tom 4 and a drum key.
The dimensions of these electronic drums are 1,650 mm wide, 1,500 mm deep and 1,250 mm high. If you want advice on setting up an extensive Roland V-Drums kit, Magna Music can also help with personal guidance from musicians in the shop.
