Shure MV7i USB microphone for two-channel recording
With the Shure MV7i, you get a USB microphone that also works as an audio interface. That makes it easy to record two channels on a computer, tablet or smartphone without adding a separate external interface to your signal path. Through the combo XLR & ¼" input, you can connect an extra XLR microphone or an instrument, turning the MV7i into the center of your recording setup.
The Shure MV7i works with Mac, Windows, Apple and Android™ devices via USB-C and is MFi certified for iPhone and iPad. For creators who want a compact setup with solid control, that is a practical combination.
Broadcast-quality sound with smart DSP and direct control
Shure equips the MV7i with advanced DSP for a clear recording chain. Auto Level Mode with SmartGate™ adjusts gain dynamically based on microphone proximity, speech volume and room acoustics. Voice Isolation Technology, Real-Time Denoiser, Digital Popper Stopper™ and optional reverb also improve both the built-in microphone and any connected XLR microphone.
Using the MOTIV Mix™ and MOTIV Mobile Apps, you can configure DSP functions, shape your own sound signature and mix two channels. The customizable 36-bit color LED touch panel shows live meter, pulsing or solid modes and gives you instant mute access, with red as a clear mute indicator.
Flexible connectivity and monitoring
The Shure MV7i supports dynamic and condenser microphones via XLR and instruments via ¼" TS or TRS. You work with 24-bit/48kHz digital audio, onboard DSP, up to +60 dB gain and 48V phantom power. That makes this USB microphone suitable for a wide range of recording setups where you want to switch quickly between voice and an extra source.
For direct control, you can monitor both the microphone and input in real time through the built-in 3.5 mm headphone output. You can choose Mixdown Mode for one mono track, Multi-track Mode for two separate mono tracks, or Stereo Mode to preserve stereo from your input alongside your microphone recording.
