Eastman E2D acoustic guitar with warm, open sound
The Eastman E2D focuses on direct response and a warm, dynamic tone. Its solid cedar top works together with solid sapele back and sides, while the hand-scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance and gives the sound an open character.
With body dimensions of 16" x 4-11/16" and a 25.4" scale length, this acoustic guitar feels familiar for players looking for a full acoustic voice. The D’Addario XS Coated Phosphor Bronze Light strings in .012 – .053 match that setup well.
Comfort and finish of the Eastman E2D
The mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard combine a 12" radius with the Traditional Even “C” neck profile, which gives a comfortable playing feel. The 1-3/4" bone nut, 20 Jescar-FW43080 frets, and the action at the 12th fret of 3/32" on the bass side and 2/32" on the treble side make the playing dimensions clear and practical.
Eastman also keeps the styling close to a classic look. Truetone Satin on the top, back and sides, tortoise binding, a classic rosette, pearl dots and a tortoise shell pickguard give this acoustic guitar a traditional appearance. The open-gear PingWell V93N 3+3 tuners in nickel and the dual acting truss rod complete it in a functional way. If you later need setup or maintenance advice, Magna Music can also help with personal guidance from musicians in the shop and workshop.
