Tanglewood TJ8E parlour electro-acoustic guitar

The solid spruce top delivers a clear and dynamic response. In contrast, the 3-piece back of amara and spalted mango adds extra character, with a warm, intimate and rich tone that makes this Tanglewood notably versatile.
Construction, finish and playing feel
The body combines a Natural Gloss finish with amara sides and a visually striking back. The neck is made of mahogany / nato and the fingerboard of Techwood / composite, with a scale length of approximately 630 mm and a nut width of approximately 43 mm.
With 18 frets and a pearl inlay at the 12th fret, the layout stays clean and stylish. Open gear chrome tuners, a Techwood bridge and a PPS nut and saddle complete the instrument.
Fishman Presys for amplified use
For playing through an amplifier or on stage, the Tanglewood TJ8E has a Fishman Presys pickup system on board. You can shape your amplified sound with the EQ, use the phase function when needed and tune directly with the built-in tuner, while keeping the guitar’s natural character intact.
