Roland NE-10 Noise Eater for V-Drums
When you play an electronic drum kit with headphones, the kick or hi-hat pedal can still send noise and vibration through the floor. The Roland NE-10 Noise Eater is a sound isolation panel developed specifically for V-Drums kick pads, pedals and hi-hat pedals. According to Roland test data, this floor panel reduces playing noise and floor vibration by about 75 percent compared with pedals used without a Noise Eater solution.
That makes the NE-10 a practical choice for drummers practising in an apartment, student room, flat, studio or classroom. Its discreet design does not affect the feel or playing style of your pedals, so your setup stays natural while floor transmission is greatly reduced.
Construction, use and compatibility
The Roland NE-10 uses several dome-shaped rubber dampers for efficient sound isolation and high stability. The panel is easy to use and measures 210 mm x 540 mm x 30 mm in Grey/ Black.
You can use the NE-10 with the Roland KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal, KD-9 Kick Pad, KD-7 Kick Trigger and FD-8 Hi-Hat Control Pedal. When used with a Roland KD-140/KD-120 V-Kick or a hi-hat stand for the Roland VH-13/VH-11 V-Hi-Hat, a NE-1 Noise Eater under the stand legs is required for maximum isolation and is sold separately.
