Warwick 5-string bass guitar with punch and range
If you want a 5-string bass guitar with a tight, clear and powerful voice, the Warwick RockBass Corvette $$ is a strong choice. The 34-inch scale gives you the familiar feel of a long scale bass, while the extra low string adds range for modern parts and tight low-end lines. At around 4.4 kg, with its Nirvana Black Transparent Satin finish, this Warwick RockBass Corvette $$ looks modern and professional.
RockBass Corvette $$ construction and playing feel
The bolt-on construction combines direct response with a solid foundation. The wenge fingerboard has a 26-inch radius and carries 24 jumbo frets in a titanium-brass alloy, with ball end frets and IFT, or Invisible Fret Technology. That matches a modern setup for players who move a lot across the neck.
The 45.0 mm nut width and 16.5 mm string spacing make the dimensions clear if you are looking for a 5-string with defined spacing. The neck uses two carbon bars from the 12th to the 24th fret plus a 2-way trussrod for added stability and adjustment options. At Magna Music, players can also get setup support from musicians working in the in-house workshop.
MEC pickups, active EQ and complete equipment
Two passive MEC MM pickups with open pole pieces work together with the active 2-band electronics at the core of this Warwick bass guitar. With volume, balance, treble and bass controls, you can shape the signal to match your playing style and the music you play. The electronics compartment is copper shielded, and the pickup routings also use shielding paint.
You also get a 2-piece Warwick 3D bridge, Warwick machine heads and Warwick S-Security Locks. The bass comes factory strung with Warwick RED Strings in .045 to .135 and includes a Rockbag Student Line Plus gigbag, so it is ready to go to rehearsal, lessons or the stage.
