With a 34-inch scale, this bass guitar offers a familiar playing foundation for many genres. The passive MEC Vintage Humbucker pickups together with active 2-band electronics give you plenty of control over your sound through volume, balance, treble and bass.
Construction and playing comfort of the RockBass Streamer Standard
The bolt-on construction joins the Carolina Pine body to a 3-piece laminated maple neck with black veneer stripes. Two carbon bars from the 12th to the 24th fret, a 2-way truss rod and a wenge fingerboard contribute to stability and sustain. The 20-inch fingerboard radius, 24 jumbo frets in titanium-brass alloy and a 38.5 mm nut width give this electric bass a modern layout with ample room across the neck.
Warwick uses ball end frets with IFT, or Invisible Fret Technology, plus a Warwick Just-A-Nut III nut in Tedur. Quick access to the truss rod and electronics compartment makes setup practical; at Magna Music, that is especially useful if you want your bass checked over properly.
Electronics, hardware and finish
The Warwick RockBass Streamer Standard comes with a copper-shielded electronics compartment, shielding paint in the pickup routings and pickup mounting with screws and threaded inserts. That matches the solid build of this bass guitar. The 2-piece Warwick 3D bridge, Warwick machine heads and Warwick S-Security Locks complete the hardware package.
The 19 mm string spacing and the 57 mm distance from E to G string give a clear string layout. This 4-string electric bass comes factory-strung with Warwick RED Strings in .045 to .105. The Ocean Blue Transparent Satin finish with chrome hardware gives the RockBass Streamer Standard a refined, professional look, and it includes a Rockbag Student Line Plus gigbag.
