Kawai ES-60 B digital piano with authentic touch

The Kawai ES-60 B is designed for beginner and developing pianists who want to practise at home, take lessons or play small performances. Its light, portable design of around 11 kg also makes it easier to move than a traditional cabinet model.
Grand piano sound, extra voices and useful functions
For its piano sound, Kawai uses Harmonic Imaging technology, with the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand as the main voice. This gives you a rich, dynamic foundation with smooth transitions between soft and loud passages. With 192-note polyphony, fuller arrangements and pedal use remain clear.
Alongside acoustic piano sounds, you get 17 onboard voices including electric pianos, organs, strings, bass and harpsichord. Dual mode lets you play two sounds together, while Split divides the keyboard into two zones. Reverb settings such as Room, Small Hall and Concert Hall add space, and the metronome, 30 drum rhythms, 15 demo songs, transpose and touch settings make the instrument well suited to study and variation.
Connections and compact use
The built-in stereo system of 2 x 10 watts uses upward-facing speakers and delivers a clear, full sound image. If you want to practise quietly, you can use the 1/4 inch headphone output. For recording or amplification, stereo line outputs are available in 1/4 inch L/R format.
Via USB-MIDI, you can connect the Kawai ES-60 B to a computer or apps, including PianoRemote and PiaBookPlayer for iOS and Android. There is no integrated display; operation is handled through buttons and app support. An F-1SP pedal, music rest and power adapter are included.
