Eastman acoustic guitar with vintage character
The Eastman E10SS TC is built around solid tonewoods and traditional construction. Its solid Adirondack spruce top combined with solid mahogany back and sides gives this acoustic guitar a warm, rich tone with strong projection, clear articulation and a pronounced vintage character.
The hand-carved scalloped X-bracing makes the response especially sensitive. That allows the Eastman E10SS TC to react immediately to soft fingerstyle passages as well as heavier strumming when you want more volume and emphasis.
Playability of the Eastman E10SS TC
The mahogany neck with Traditional Even “C” profile feels familiar in the hand. Together with the shorter 24.75 inch scale length, this acoustic guitar plays smoothly and easily, which is pleasant during long playing sessions.
The ebony fingerboard with 12 inch radius, 20 Jescar FW43080 frets and a 1 11/16 inch bone nut support a direct attack and long sustain. The listed action at the 12th fret is 3/32 inch on the bass side and 2/32 inch on the treble side.
Construction, finish and included case
Ebony is also used for the bridge and bridge pins, paired with a bone saddle and 2-5/32 inch string spacing. The Eastman is finished in Truetone Gloss on both the top and the back and sides, with ivoroid binding, a classic rosette, firestripe pickguard, nickel hardware and Gotoh SE780-06M-N tuners.
