Gretsch shell pack with classic Brooklyn sound
This Gretsch shell pack reaches back to the historic Brooklyn sound the brand is known for. Its character is described as classic, warm and full, while also being a little more open with a rich punch, making this drum kit a strong choice for drummers who want a clearly individual voice.
The Brooklyn series has revived “That Great Gretsch Sound” since 2012. In this configuration you get 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" toms, a 16" x 14" floor tom and a 22" x 18" bass drum, finished in blue.
Build of the Gretsch Brooklyn Standard Shell Set
The shells are made from 6 plies of maple and poplar. Combined with the 30° bearing edge, the Gretsch 'Silver Sealer' inner shell coating and the Gretsch '302' hoops, this creates the highly individual sound character this series is known for.
The '302' hoops are double flanged 3 mm steel hoops. This shell pack also has chrome hardware and Remo heads, and it is handmade in Ridgeland, South Carolina, Made in USA.
