Electric bass guitar with P-style character
If you want an electric bass guitar with a recognisable, punchy sound and a classic look, the Jet JPB-300 Green is a solid match. This 4-string model combines vintage-inspired P-style styling with modern build quality and is aimed at bass players who want a full, powerful bass tone with plenty of midrange punch.
The single PB-style pickup delivers a clear, solid foundation that works well on stage and in the studio. With the volume and tone controls, you can easily shape the sound from tight and bright to warm and round.
Build and playing comfort of the Jet JPB-300
The body is made of roasted poplar and the neck of Canadian roasted maple, which according to the specifications contributes to a stable construction and a warm, balanced tone with clear definition. The rosewood fingerboard, 34-inch scale length and 20 frets give this bass guitar a familiar layout for many players.
The Modern C neck profile and 12-inch radius make it comfortable to play, for both beginners and more advanced bassists. The bone / polymer fibre nut has a width of 1.625 inches and the double action truss rod offers extra adjustment options; at Magna Music, you can also turn to a workshop with experience in instrument setup.
Finish and hardware
The Green finish is combined with a red tortoise pickguard, giving the Jet JPB-300 a distinctly classic look. Chrome hardware and vintage-style tuners complete that appearance nicely.
At the bridge, 4 brass saddles finish the design, and the bass comes from the factory with D’Addario strings. That gives you an electric bass guitar clearly aimed at familiar P-style use in both look and construction.
