The Roland VAD-716-SW is an electronic drum kit that brings the expressive power of the V-Drums 7 Series into a V-Drums Acoustic Design setup. At the center is the expandable V71 sound module, giving you two ways to play: through the built-in sound library created in collaboration with Drum Workshop (DW), or through DW Soundworks software on your computer.

Advanced pads and complete six-piece V-Drums setup
The VAD-716-SW includes a V71 module, one PD-14DSX snare, PDA100 and PDA120 rack toms, two PDA140F floor toms, one VH-14D hi-hat, two CY-16R-T crashes, one CY-18DR ride, one KD-22 kick and one DTS-30S drum stand. The PD-14DSX takes Roland digital snare technology further with even more detailed sensing, a snare throw-off lever and a snare tension knob.
The KD-22 also stands out with its full wooden shell, authentic look and an innovative sensor mounted on the drum head. That combination gives this electronic drum set a clear acoustic-style presence while keeping the precision and flexibility of a modern Roland system.
Setup, expansion and finish
This six-piece drum kit offers four extra trigger inputs through AUX 1 to AUX 4, so you can expand the setup further. This version comes in Satin Walnut. The package includes a setup guide and drum key.
The kit measures 1,950 mm wide, 1,500 mm deep and 1,250 mm high. Please note that this Roland electronic drum kit is supplied without a snare drum stand, hi-hat stand, pedal, drum throne, drum mat, headphones and sticks.
