Sire T3N electric guitar with a classic T-style foundation
The Sire T3N New Gen in 3-Tone Sunburst is an electric guitar that pairs vintage T-style looks with a modern playing approach. Developed in collaboration with Larry Carlton, this model brings familiar single-coil clarity together with a warmer, fuller base and pronounced mids.
The Indonesian mahogany body gives this T-style guitar more body than traditional ash or alder versions, while the Sire Standard-T single-coils keep the sound clear and balanced. That makes the Sire T3N a strong match for blues, rock, funk, indie and pop.
Construction and feel of the Sire T3N New Gen
Beneath the gloss finish, you get a mahogany body with a hard maple C-shape neck, paired with a Rosewood Edgeless™ fingerboard. Those rounded fingerboard edges and the modern, comfortable feel make longer playing sessions enjoyable, whether at home or on stage.
With a 9.5" radius, medium jumbo stainless steel frets, a 25.5" scale length and a 42 mm bone / Tusq style nut, the neck feels familiar and smooth in the hand. At Magna Music, you can also get personal advice from musicians in the shop when you're looking for an electric guitar that combines classic looks with modern details.
Finish, hardware and controls
The 3-Tone Sunburst finish gives the Sire T3N Larry Carlton a distinct vintage appearance. As is often the case with sunburst finishes, the exact shade and transition may vary slightly from one instrument to another.
For control, you get volume and tone, plus a 3-way or 5-way switch depending on the version. The Sire Standard T-Bridge with 6 saddles, Sire Standard tuners and chrome hardware fit the modern character and high level of finish this model is known for.
