Programmable multi-effects pedal with an open approach
If you want a multi-effects pedal that is not limited to a fixed collection of sounds, the Polyend Endless takes a very different route. This compact stompbox is an open platform where you can create, load, and modify new effects through Polyend Playground using text prompts or through the open-source C++ SDK.
That makes the Polyend Endless especially suited to experimental sound design, ambient, glitch, granular textures, and custom DSP effects. The pedal runs one effect at a time, which fits players and creators who prefer to focus on one creative process instead of calling up dozens of standard effects straight away.
Audio, connections, and control on the Polyend Endless
The hardware combines a 720 MHz ARM Cortex-M7 DSP core with 24-bit / 48 kHz audio quality, stereo input, and stereo output. You load effects via USB-C, while an expression pedal input adds extra control during performance or studio tweaking.
On the pedal itself, you work with 3 assignable knobs and 2 footswitches. The magnetic interchangeable faceplates make it easy to see which effect is active at a glance; included are an Endless Delay plate, a blank plate, and 2000 Playground tokens.
For creative studio setups and experimental players
The Polyend Endless makes the most sense in creative studio setups and for guitarists or sound designers who like building their own sound processes. For traditional plug-and-play pedalboard use or players expecting a large standard library right away, the focus of this Polyend effects pedal is less obvious.
If you enjoy working with new ideas, custom DSP processes, and community-shared effects, this is a striking option. At Magna Music, you can also count on advice from people who actively work with gear, which is useful with a pedal built around such an open concept.
