  • Open wrap and complete outfitThe open wrap F-attachment supports free, smooth airflow and a comfortable response in every register. Eastman also includes a deluxe case with backpack straps, plus a mouthpiece, cleaning cloth and accessories.

Eastman trombone with characterful raw brass finish

If you are looking for a trombone with a distinctive appearance and serious playing qualities, the Eastman ETB426GV stands out right away. This model is based on the popular ETB426G, but comes in an unlacquered raw brass finish. Over time, that finish develops a natural patina, giving the instrument a warm, authentic vintage look that changes along with regular playing.

This unlacquered version does more than shape the appearance. According to the specifications, the finish also contributes to a direct, open tonal response, giving the Eastman ETB426GV a clearly defined character of its own.

Full tone and free airflow

With a large 13.89 mm (.547") bore and a handspun 216 mm (8.5") Gold Brass bell, this trombone is built for a full, rich sound with excellent projection. The combination of a brass body and Gold Brass bell gives the Eastman ETB426GV the foundation for a broad tone that carries well.

The open wrap F-attachment section keeps the airflow free and smooth, which you notice in a comfortable response across all registers. That makes this model suitable for the ambitious student who wants room to grow, as well as the advanced player searching for a trombone with playability, sound quality and a clear visual identity. At Magna Music, you can also try brass instruments in person and compare them with advice from staff who are players themselves.

Slide construction and included accessories

For the slide, Eastman uses nickel silver on the outer slide and a hard chrome plated nickel silver inner slide. These are important elements for durability and smooth slide action. The raw brass version also fits perfectly with the instrument’s vintage appearance.

You receive the Eastman ETB426GV with a sturdy, deluxe Eastman case with backpack straps, so you can carry the trombone safely and comfortably. A cleaning cloth, accessories and mouthpiece are also included, so you can start playing straight away.
