Evans bass drum head with microphone port
The Evans BD20REMAD Emad Resonant Black is a 20 inch resonant bass drum head in Black Gloss. This bass drum head includes an offset 4 inch microphone port, so you can place a microphone in front of the kick drum without cutting the head yourself.
The head uses a single ply of 7.5mil film. Around the microphone port, a black plastic sleeve holds a foam dampening ring that controls overtones and enhances pitch focus and attack.
Built for a tighter kick drum response
The dampening around the port keeps the setup controlled and free from rattling parts. That makes this Evans resonant bass drum head a strong choice if you want a more focused kick drum response with extra emphasis on attack.
At Magna Music, you can get personal advice from musicians if you want help choosing the right bass drum head for your drum kit.
