Boss TU-3 tuner pedal for guitar and bass
The Boss TU-3 is the successor to the widely used TU-2 and is aimed at guitarists and bass players who want fast, clear tuning, whether on a dark stage or in bright daylight. Its 21-segment LED meter offers adjustable brightness and a High Brightness mode, so the display stays easy to read in live situations.
You can choose between a chromatic mode and a guitar/bass mode. In that instrument mode, you tune by string number, and the Boss TU-3 also shows note names for 7-string guitars and 6-string basses.
Clear tuning, even with lower tunings
The Accu-Pitch Sign function gives a visual indication as soon as a note is in tune. That makes tuning quick and easy to follow, especially when you need to make adjustments on stage without spending too much time looking down.
If you use drop tunings, the Guitar Flat mode is especially useful. It lets you tune down by as much as 6 semitones, making this tuner pedal a practical choice for players who switch between different tunings.
Practical on your pedalboard
As soon as you activate the tuner, the signal output is automatically muted. That makes the Boss TU-3 suitable for silent tuning between songs or during rehearsal.
