2-way guitar humidifier system
The D'addario HPK-01 is a maintenance-free humidity control system for guitar that automatically maintains 45% to 50% relative humidity inside your instrument case. That takes the guesswork out of humidifying your guitar and removes the need for manual adjustments caused by seasonal changes, temperature differences or location changes.
Because this 2-way system keeps humidity at the proper level inside the case, it helps protect your guitar against warping, cracks and other damage caused by dry conditions. It also keeps things clean and simple, with no water, no drips and no mess.
Use and notes for the D'addario Humidipak
The D'addario Humidipak is designed to restore and maintain humidity for the instrument and case, but it is not intended to dehumidify in high-humidity environments. If your instrument has not been humidified before or is known to be dry, D'addario recommends using Humidipak Restore first before switching to the maintenance system.
Using maintenance packs in a dry guitar or case will significantly shorten the life of the packs. For players who want a practical way to keep their instrument stable in the case, this is a straightforward humidity control solution.
