The Alhambra 2C takes the 1C as its starting point and adds a refined construction upgrade. This model has improved bracing with five fan braces in the top, giving you more dynamics and warmth. You notice that especially clearly in the first five positions.
As a classical guitar, the 2C uses nylon strings, making it a fitting choice if you want a traditional playing setup. The natural finish keeps the look understated and familiar.
Construction and materials of the Alhambra 2C
The top is made from solid cedar, paired with laminated mahogany for the back and sides. That wood combination matches the warm character highlighted by this model’s construction. The fingerboard is rosewood and the finish is lacquer.
