Boss RC-1 loop station for instant looping fun
If you want a loop station you can use right away, the Boss RC-1 is a straightforward choice. This compact BOSS stompbox lets you record, play back, create overdubs, and undo or redo loops with simple operation.
The RC-1 suits guitarists, bassists, and keyboard players looking for an easy-to-use looper for practice, jamming, or live use. Its compact format makes it easy to add to an existing pedalboard or effects setup.
Stereo looper with 12 minutes of recording time
With 12 minutes of stereo recording time, the Boss RC-1 gives you plenty of space for longer phrases and more elaborate loop building. The stereo inputs and outputs make it suitable for stereo effects and amplifiers, as well as stereo instruments such as synthesizers.
If you play through a stereo rig, this loop station fits in naturally. That gives the RC-1 broad use, from creating backing tracks to playing along with your own recorded parts.
Clear loop indicator and flexible power options
On the top panel, a newly designed loop indicator uses a 24-segment LED circle, so you can quickly see the current Rec, Overdub, and Play status. You can also switch the indicator to an alternative mode where the rotation speed visually reflects the loop length.
The Boss RC-1 runs on one alkaline 9-volt battery with about 4.5 hours of battery life, or with an optional PSA-series AC adapter. It is also compatible with external footswitches such as the optional FS-7, giving you extra flexibility while playing. At Magna Music, you can also get personal advice from musicians if you want to expand your pedal setup thoughtfully.
