Elixir acoustic guitar strings with extended tone life
The Elixir Nanoweb 12077 Light-Heavy is a set of acoustic guitar strings for players who want a warm phosphor bronze sound with added shimmer and long usable tone life. The ultra-thin Nanoweb coating protects the entire string and helps keep debris out of the gaps between the windings, so the tone stays intact longer.
According to Elixir, players report that these coated strings hold their tone longer than other strings, coated or uncoated. That means fewer string changes and more time with a set that stays ready to play.
Warmth, playing comfort and less string noise
The phosphor bronze winding gives these acoustic guitar strings a warm foundation with sparkling overtones. The smooth feel is easy on your fingers and makes playing more comfortable, especially during practice or longer sessions.
Reduced finger squeak is also a practical advantage. That is useful on stage, and just as valuable in recording situations where unwanted sliding noise can stand out quickly.
Built for consistent performance
The plain steel strings use anti-rust plating to resist corrosion that can dull the tone, helping the full set last longer. This helps the Elixir Nanoweb 12077 strings stay more consistent in both sound and performance.
If you are looking for Light-Heavy acoustic guitar strings with coating and a smooth playing feel, this Elixir set is a strong choice for regular use. At Magna Music, you can also count on advice from players who know what these string differences mean in practice.
