Jupiter baritone sax with light response and low A
In a big band or sax section, a baritone sax really comes into its own, and the Jupiter JBS-1000 is clearly designed for that role. This Eb baritone saxophone focuses on light response and easy handling, which is especially useful if you also play alto or tenor sax and use baritone as a second instrument.
Its sound is intended to fit smoothly into any saxophone section, and the range extends down to low A. A High F# key is also included, giving you extra reach at the top end.
Construction and playing comfort of the Jupiter JBS-1000
The neck, body and keywork are made of brass with a gold lacquer finish. Adjustable side keys, also known as palm keys, give you more comfort in fast passages. The adjustable G# and B key, the C#-Bb key lever and the adjustable plastic thumb hook help tailor the instrument more closely to your hand position.
The Jupiter JBS-1000 also uses blue steel springs, adjustable bumper felts and PISONI pads with plastic resonators. A removable floor peg makes this size of sax easier to manage, and Magna Music’s workshop can also advise on setup and maintenance if needed.
Supplied complete with case and mouthpiece
