Remo Pinstripe drumhead 8 inch
If you want an 8 inch drumhead with controlled attack and fewer unwanted overtones, the Remo PS-0108-00 Pinstripe Coated is a solid match. This white Pinstripe head delivers midrange with plenty of low end and uses two 7mil plies.
A special dampening layer between those plies reduces overtones while keeping a sharp attack. That makes this Remo drumhead a good fit for drummers who want a tighter, more focused sound from a tom or other 8 inch drum.
Construction and sound character
The 2-ply build also contributes to longer life, which makes this Remo Pinstripe Coated appealing for regular use. The white coated finish matches the well-known Pinstripe design that has been widely chosen for years.
The Pinstripe series is one of the most popular drumhead lines in the world. The shell shown in the photo, if pictured, is not included.
