Denis Wick mouthpiece with large shank
The Denis Wick DW5880-6AL is a silver-coloured mouthpiece with a large shank. If you are looking for a mouthpiece where sizing matters most, this model gives you clear specifications: a 25.40 mm cup diameter, 6.80 mm rim width and 7.20 mm bore.
The medium backbore is part of how this Denis Wick mouthpiece is built. The large shank immediately tells you what fit this model is made for, so you can search more precisely for a mouthpiece that matches your instrument.
Sizing of the Denis Wick DW5880-6AL
With a mouthpiece, small dimensional details matter. The combination of a 25.40 mm cup diameter, 6.80 mm rim width and 7.20 mm bore makes the Denis Wick DW5880-6AL relevant for players who want to match their setup closely to their own preference and instrument fit.
If you are unsure about the right fit or size, personal advice from a music shop with its own workshop can be helpful when choosing a suitable mouthpiece.
