Jupiter bass trombone for brass band and big band
If you need a bass trombone that fits naturally into brass band and big band settings, the Jupiter JTB-1180 R is built with that use in mind. This bass trombone is pitched in Bb/F/Gb/D and features two inline valves with an open-wrap design, making it suitable for parts that call for extra range and flexibility.
The 14.25 mm bore and 254 mm bell define the build of the Jupiter JTB-1180 R. Its lacquered gold brass bell matches the solid, well-considered construction of the instrument.
Construction and finish of the Jupiter JTB-1180 R
Jupiter uses nickel silver for both the outer slide and inner slide. The inner slide is also hard chrome plated. The tuning slides are made of brass with nickel silver outer bows.
Practical playing details include the padded thumb rest. At Magna Music, you can also try trombones in store and get advice from staff with experience in brass instruments.
Supplied as a complete set
