Yanagisawa soprano saxophone with even tone and reliable intonation
The Yanagisawa S-WO10 is a Bb soprano saxophone that stands out for its beautiful, even tone and intonation across all registers. The bore, as well as the placement and size of the tone holes, has been revised, which in practice contributes to even better tuning and a consistent response from low to high.
An extra plate on the neck gives this Yanagisawa soprano sax a more solid tone. The high F# and high G key extend the range further, while the elegant engraving and gold lacquer finish give the instrument a refined look.
Playing comfort of the S-WO10
On the S-WO10, the position of the right-hand little finger table has been adjusted for smoother operation. The placement and angle of the high F# and G key have also been slightly changed, and the left-hand palm keys have been raised. This makes the soprano saxophone more comfortable in the hands, especially when you play a lot in the upper register.
You get both a curved and a straight neck included, both in gold lacquer. These necks are interchangeable, so you can choose what best matches your posture and playing comfort. At Magna Music, you can also try saxophones in the shop and receive advice from staff with wind instrument experience.
Supplied complete with case and mouthpiece
Yanagisawa supplies the S-WO10 in a new luxury case with backpack straps and an accessory compartment. That makes transporting and storing your soprano sax practical, whether you are heading to lessons, rehearsal or a performance.
Also included are an ebonite Yanagisawa mouthpiece, a gold lacquer ligature and a cap. That gives you a complete setup right away, ready to start playing.
