This Legere Signature reed has strength 2.25 and a transparent finish. As a synthetic reed, it lasts much longer than a cane reed and keeps its flexibility for longer as well.
The precise production process and use of poly material make the quality highly consistent, with minimal to no difference between two reeds of the same strength. Moisture does not affect the reed, so you do not need to wet it first, and it also works well outdoors, for example in cold or rain.
