MOZER guitars are distinguishing guitar designs by Michiel Mozer. Striking tools for the professional guitarist/bassist desiring a unique look, sound and feeling.
Â
Founded in 2004, the Chariot model arose out of the lack of innovative designs and to create a truly new and distinguishing face in the guitar world, based on daring creations in the ‘60s and modern innovations.
Â
While still working as a trainee luthier, Mozer developed the first Chariot model to integrate improvements and optimize numerous construction and finishing details in relation to the established methods. This resulted into an innovative design with optimal tone-maintenance and playability. The concept behind every Mozer electric guitar and bass.
Â
The first Chariot prototypes were picked up by guitarists Bill Kelliher (Mastodon) and Ben Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan). Privileged to work with these and other amazing artists, Mozer refined the Chariot and developed new variations that later embodied the first Standard line.
Â
In 2016 Mozer began expanding his concept with the Radiant bass model. A year later the first prototype was achieved and picked up by Liam Wilson (The Dillinger Escape Plan). With the well-known performance of the band the bass underwent some of the most extreme touring conditions, proving the model to be a reliable workhorse.
Â
In that same year the 5-string version was developed along with different fretboard options to create a versatile bass for many music and playing styles.
Â
In 2018 these variations have resulted into the first Radiant Bass standard line.
